We produce innovative and unique events from a strategic perspective, enabling your organisation to mitigate risks, seize opportunities and understand current trends. We work with the global security analysis consultancy Scholae to make our event content truly cutting edge. Our events also provide delegates with a detailed event report, as well as a consultancy session in the weeks following.
Big Picture Insight (BPI) uses an industry-unique model for events and conferences, combining incisive presentations delivered by analysts and consultants with panels composed of experts and stakeholders.
In order to encourage frank and open dialogue, our events are by default held under the Chatham House Rule, defined as: ‘When a meeting, or part thereof, is held under the Chatham House Rule, participants are free to use the information received, but neither the identity nor the affiliation of the speaker(s), nor that of any other participant, may be revealed.’
Our specific events are described below; you can read about our event model here.
The recent development of blockchain technology, cryptocurrencies and Central Bank Digital Currencies (CBDCs), and the evolution of web3 is already having a transformative effect around the globe, yet the impact is only just beginning to be perceived more widely.
Our event is unique in taking a strategic approach to this process, analysing the technological, social and economic effects and how they interact with global security and emerging trends. This event is of particular interest to those in finance, banking, government and international businesses and organisations.
We combine presentations delivered by experts with panels of specialists and industry stakeholders, representing the state of knowledge in each sector relevant to the topic at hand.
As the world becomes increasingly unstable and multipolar, understanding the global security outlook is more imperative than ever. Simultaneously, numerous disruptive trends as well as significant opportunities are beginning to emerge.
This event will examine the key trends, risks and opportunities at the global level. From the impact of the Russian Invasion of Ukraine, the risks to the global microchip supply from Chinese threats to Taiwan, to the impact of ESG policy on lithium supplies, this event is a unique opportunity to understand the current state of global affairs and their outlook in the near term.
Big Picture Insight (BPI) uses an industry-unique model for events and conferences, combining incisive presentations delivered by analysts and consultants with panels composed of experts and stakeholders. These are followed by both an event report for each delegate and a consultancy session with our global security and emerging trends content partner Scholae.
Our initial process is comprised of SUBJECT & TOPIC ASSESSMENT by BPI and STRATEGIC ANALYSIS by our partners Scholae in forming our EVENT CONTENT. We simultaneously carry out a STAKEHOLDER CONSULTATION with multiple representatives of the five sectors outlined by the QUINTUPLE HELIX MODEL (see above). This enables us to understand how each sector intersects with our subject and what issues are particularly pertinent to decision makers and specialists, and this in turn informs our event content.
Our event format is then composed of TOPIC PRESENTATIONS (1), presented by consultants and analysts provided by our content partner Scholae in order to ensure consistent, standardised and high-quality information and delivery. We follow this with a PANEL DISCUSSION (2) on the same topic, using panels composed of stakeholders and experts representative of the subsectors involved with or affected by the topic in question, and again chosen with an awareness of the Quintuple Helix Model and informed by our stakeholder consultation process.
Finally, in the post-event timeframe our content partner Scholae delivers an EVENT REPORT (3) to each delegate, written via a process of SUBJECT & TOPIC ANALYSIS and with input from the insights derived from each panel session. This is then followed by a bookable CONSULTANCY SESSION (4) with Scholae, allowing in depth discussion of topic and subject matter that is of particular interest to delegates.
